Workplace Advisors
A Workplace Advisor (WA) is an AMAPCEO Office staff member who provides guidance and assistance to both AMAPCEO members and AMAPCEO Workplace Representatives on the interpretation and application of the Collective Agreement.
Although you may always call the AMAPCEO office at any time and speak with the appropriate Workplace Advisor (WA), our members have found that the local Workplace Representative is a helpful contact in the first instance. Workplace Representatives can often assist AMAPCEO members resolve issues before they become formal disputes and they have the benefit of experience in dealing with similar kinds of issues that arise from time to time in different workplace settings.
Please contact a Workplace Representative if you have a question about the Collective Agreement, your working conditions or your entitlements; if you have a concern about your manager, if you want some assistance in dealing with a problem informally; or if you are thinking of filing a formal dispute.
Note: if you are thinking of filing a formal dispute you must contact a Workplace Representative to obtain a Stage One dispute form.
Should you still need to contact a Workplace Advisor, please refer to the chart below.
