	AMAPCEO Attends Public Sector Compensation “Consultations” Thursday, August 12, 2010 AMAPCEO has been invited to the first round of public sector compensation “consultations” announced by the Minister of Finance last month. The Government/Employer-designed Phase I, which has been scheduled from August 9^th through August 22^nd, has six tables: a Canadian Auto Workers table (across sectors), the Service Employees International Union (across sectors), a University Faculty Associations table, an OPSEU table (across sectors), an OPPA table and an OPS table which includes AMAPCEO, ALOC/OCAA, PEGO and AOPDPS. Other public sector unions are scheduled for two subsequent phases being held from August 30^th through October 3^rd. While discussed, the parties have not determined how the AMAPCEO BPS units (outside of the OPS) will be addressed.
