	Yes! AMAPCEO Campaign Archive In late August and early September of 2008, AMAPCEO faced what was arguably its most serious crisis since voluntary recognition in 1995. It was also the shortest crisis in our history and the most puzzling, coming virtually out of the blue with no warning, and ending three weeks after it started. During a multi-bargaining agent consultation on “modernizing” labour relations in the OPS, we were confronted with a proposal put forward by OPSEU (Ontario Public Service Employees’ Union), and subsequently adopted by our employer as its “leading option”, to essentially destroy AMAPCEO and transfer 75 per cent of our members against their will into the OPSEU bargaining unit. Just as quickly as it was proposed, AMAPCEO members and others in the OPS community mobilized and turned things around. The material related to this event is archived in the postings below.
